Toilets..
OK i talk about toilets a lot..but we all use them A LOT.
so today lets just go over the working parts of a normal toilet.
tank...inside the tank, close to the center ,is the Douglas valve.
This fills the bowl through the rim and helps get the "swirl"started.on the bottom of this valve, is the flapper,
which is connected to the flush handle.the flapper is made of rubber and seals by means of a vacuum and water level.so when you push the handle ......it raises the flapper water flows through a 2" hole into the bowl...at the same time the flush valve trips filling the tank and sending water to the Douglas valve which in turn send water to the bowl rim ,creating the swirl.
stuff {poop} goes down the drain..
Now also in the tank ...to the left, is the flush valve....or ball cock or fluid master..This valve fills the tank with water and is adjustable OK any questions ?? http://plumbgod.homestead.com
